Saw Gene Hefron yesterday when I went to vote
in Warr Acres. He is a volunteer election official. He looks good. Saw
Pat Toney. She works at AAA and lives in Warr Acres. She looks great!
Had a wonderful time at the "Facilities Fish Fry" out in the
shop at B101 before Thanksgiving. Its great to see a lot of old familiar
faces and visit. Everyone looked great. So glad everyone is prospering.
Here's wishing all you X-Seagaters, Imprimis, Control Data, MPI,
Honeywell, GE, wonderful co-workers a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and a prosperous,
healthy, and happy new year. Blessings to you all and your families.

Marietta Tardibono <MimiTardi@aol.com> Warr Acres, OK USA Hi! Just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas
and a Happy New Year. It is sad to drive by the Reno plant and see all
the empty parking places. Remember when it was tough to get a parking
place? I have noticed where several of our co-workers have passed. The
original bunch contnues to shrink everyday. I miss the days when we
going full blast and everyone had all they could do just to keep up
with the schedule. What in the hell happned? were we just so good we
worked ourselves out of a job? I knew when we got so many of the displaced
Yankees from up north there ajenda was to close up the OKC manufacturing.
It was plain that they never could match our records for quality or
quantity. In my estimation there will never be a group as good as the
bunch in the OKC facility. That was a rare bunch and most everyone helped
each other and that was why we were so successful. AGAIN MERRY CHRISTMAS
AND I HOPE EACH OF YOU HAVE A BETTER NEW YEAR.

Sharon Nicholson <nichkatn@netscape.net> Del City, OK USA - As many of you know, I moved to Wyoming a little over a year and a half ago well.....I moved to Houston, Texas about 2 weeks ago. I had several stop offs, one in Longmont to visit OKC buddies and stay the night with Michelle and then stopped in OKC for a night. Long trip but I'm back where my family is and yes, starting over again. Isn't life grand! I'd love to keep in touch with many of you so if you feel so inclined email. I still love to keep in touch with many, many of my Seagate family. Take care all of you. Amy Huddleston <amyh3540@hotmail.com> Houston, TX USA - That’s it folks. I’m leaving Oklahoma. After 55+ years, which included 321/2 years at GE/Seagate, one and a half years retirement, and a couple summers doing IT work for the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, I finally gave up trying to make a living here. I took a job with Fujitsu in Round Rock Texas doing Failure Analysis on disc drives. I start November 14; 2005. They offered a good starting salary, great benefits and relocation package. Many of you who knew Andy Peterson, Scott Lytle and Gary Rickell remember when they relocated to Fujitsu in Portland Oregon during the 1990’s. Scott and Gary are still with Fujitsu and now work in Round Rock. It will be great working with some of the old gang again. Although the disc drive industry may be on the decline, I hope to work at least five more years, and maybe retire for real this time. Who knows? The only hard part is leaving Oklahoma and the current love of my life Pam. Darrell Brown <darrell_brown@att.net> OKC, OK USA - Does anyone have Daniel Heaton e-mail address? Time to get ready for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation WALK TO CURE DIABETES on Saturday, May 21, 2005 at the OKC Zoo. With your support, we hope that children with diabetes will soon be able to enjoy happy, active, normal lives. Children with Type 1 diabetes are insulin-dependent for life; they will not outgrow juvenile diabetes. Children with Type 1 diabetes and their families are in a constant struggle to manage blood-sugar levels with six or more daily finger pricks to test blood, at least two shots of insulin a day, and careful monitoring of exercise and food intake. This is not a cure -- it only allows a child to stay alive! In addition to a drastic reduction in quality of life and an average life span shortened by 15 years, diabetes carries the life-long threat of other devastating complications such as kidney failure, blindness, amputation, heart attack, and stroke. Thanks to the continuous generosity of family and friends like you, a cure is closer than ever. There are a couple of ways you can help us make a difference for everyone living with diabetes: • You can join the Seagate Walk team, which consists of employees, their family and friends who collect pledges and walk with us. You can register online at http://walk.jdrf.org. Select Seagate as team name and Kelly Boykin as team captain. • Or, you can send to me a tax-deductible contribution of any amount, made payable to JDRF or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation by May 13, 2005 to Debi McHone, at P.O. Box 326, Cashion, OK 73016. Last year, our team raised over $4,971. We plan to exceed that total this year with your help. In a typical year, 85% of JDRF's expenses support research and education about research, earning an A rating for efficiency from the American Institute of Philanthropy. Thank you so much in advance for your generosity. Please let me know if you have any questions. With Sincere Thanks, Debi McHone Debi McHone <kksgrammy@msn.com> Cashion, OK USA - Saturday, April 16, 2005 at 13:26:10 (MDT) Time again for our quarterly Seagate dinner at Hometown Buffet on Northwest Expressway. We do lots of antique, classic, and show cars, from small repairs to complete restorations, and lots of insurance work on late model cars and trucks. If anyone needs any paint or body work, give me a call at 232-5550, or just to say hello!
